Apricot

It is an ocher-yellow oil, light textured and odourless. Used for a very long time in dietetics and cosmetics, it is recognised as having many virtues.

Indeed, Apricot oil is rich in unsaturated fatty acids, monounsaturated fatty acids, polyunsaturated fatty acids (essential fatty acids). It contains vitamin A and E, a natural antioxidant. It therefore provides the skin with essential nutrients.

It is suitable for all skin types (body and face). It moisturizes the skin, restores suppleness and radiance. Apricot oil can be used alone or combined with other vegetable oils.

 

Acai

The Acai Berry has a beautiful reddish-violet colour and is harvested by hand in the Amazon in palm trees also called "trees of life".

This fragile ingredient can be stored for up to 24 hours after harvesting and is packed with exceptional anti-aging properties. Particularly rich in essential fatty acids, vitamins (A, C, E, etc.), minerals and phenols, it is a powerful antioxidant used by KOS PARIS to combat wrinkles, protect the epidermis and enhance the radiance of the complexion.

 

Lingonberries

Native to the Finnish forests, the Lingonberry is a tasty fruit, rich in trace elements, mineral salts and polyphenols.

The oil concentrated in fatty acids and acids 13 (hydroxy octadecadienoic acid) has proved to be particularly effective against skin spots but also exerts its properties on the elasticity and suppleness of the skin and the radiance of the complexion.

 

Aloe Vera

Aloe Vera is a plant with many virtues that is used in cosmetics as well as in natural medicine. In Ancient Egypt, this plant was considered a gift from the gods.

Aloe Vera is made up of water and over 80 nutrients and active ingredients such as polysaccharides, minerals, amino acids, and vitamins.

Argan

The Argan oil, a star ingredient in cosmetics, comes from the small nuts of the Argan tree, an endemic shrub that grows mainly in southwest Morocco. With repairing, regenerating, protective, nourishing, and firming properties, it is used as a universal beauty fluid in the composition of many cosmetic products.

We went to get this Ecocert-certified organic oil in the Agadir region. It is a priceless natural resource in essential fatty acids (more than 75%), Vitamin E, sterols, and polyphenols.

 

Sea Buckthorn

Sea Buckthorn berry is an orange fruit that grows on small bushes. When pressed, the fruit gives a very rich oil.

This oil is full of very interesting active ingredients for the skin such as carotenoids, vitamin E, omega-6 and omega-3. This makes it an exceptional oil to erase the effects of aging. It also has softening and sun protection properties.

 

Babassu

Native to the Amazon, the Babassu is a large palm tree also found in the Caribbean and the United States. Babassu Butter is extracted from the seeds found in its nuts. This ally of the skin conceals treasures of essential fatty acids (omega-6, omega-9), lauric acid, tocotrienols (antioxidants), phytosterols...

It has been used since ancient times by Native Americans for its moisturising, softening and anti-free radical properties. When applied, this rare ingredient transforms into a precious oil that deeply nourishes the skin.

 

Buriti

Also called Aguaje, the Buriti is a palm tree native to the Amazonian forest. Sacred for its people, this tree produces hard nuts with a yellow-orange pulp rich in oil and can grow up to 40 meters high.

Highly concentrated in carotenoids, buriti oil is capable of absorbing a good part of UV rays. Very emollient and moisturizing, the oil can be used on the skin and hair.

Chamomile

Chamomile has been used for centuries for its medicinal virtues. Even today, chamomile is traditionally used in infusions and decoctions to fight against anxiety and promote sleep.

This flower also has astonishing cosmetic properties and proves to be a first-class ingredient thanks to its softening, soothing, and even antioxidant virtues.

Camellia

Also known as Green Tea Oil, the oil is extracted from the tea plant in China or Japan. The Camellia, symbol of immortality, is the first flower to bloom under the January snow on the island of Oshima in Japan.

The tree offers a precious oil that has long been used by Japanese women for its anti-aging properties.

Rich in omega-6 and omega-9, Camellia oil protects and nourishes the skin. It is also used for the care of fragile and damaged hair.

 

Coco

Coconut Butter is a white paste recognizable by its smell. Solid at room temperature, the butter melts quickly on contact with the skin. Rich in saturated fatty acids, this organic butter is particularly suitable for dry skin. It softens and moisturizes it. When used in small quantities, the butter revitalizes and beautifies the hair.

When massaged into the scalp, it thickens the hair and makes it shiny.

 

Orange Blossom

Orange blossom, also known as "Neroli essence", comes from the Bitter Orange tree. It is a fragrant white flower with properties that are appreciated in cooking as well as in cosmetics.


Orange blossom has regenerating virtues, it soothes, refreshes, and leaves a subtle scent on the skin.

Kukui Oil

Kukui oil comes from the pressure of the fruits of the Bancoul tree, a 20 m-high tree found in Asia and many subtropical regions. Cold pressed, it offers an odorless, fluid, non-greasy oil, with a color ranging from transparent to yellowish.


This dry oil is composed of omega 3, omega 6, and vitamins A and E. It moisturizes the skin and erases wrinkles.

 

Prickly Pear

Known for its exceptional anti-aging properties, the Prickly Pear belongs to the cactus family and grows in the Maghreb. Its fruit contains seeds which, once transformed into oil, abound in anti-aging, anti-oxidant, healing, nourishing, and smoothing virtues, thanks to its exceptional concentration of vitamin E, sterols, and essential fatty acids including linoleic acid (omega-6).

A ton of fruit is needed to produce a liter of this elixir of youth. For the elaboration of its oil, KOS PARIS has selected a producer whose method of drying the seeds, protected by a patent, ensures an extraordinary quality. Moreover, the prickly pear seed oil is the most expensive in the world. It is not to be confused with the oil obtained from the fruit, which is less rich in active ingredients.

We went to the plateaux of North Africa to find a small producer with high standards of the quality of the fruit and the seeds treatment. Our certified organic oil is of exceptional quality.

Shea

Produced in Burkina Faso, by a producer respectful of nature, our Shea Butter is organic, it comes from shea nuts pressed using a traditional technique.

Its properties are very numerous: Extremely rich in vitamins, Shea Butter softens, nourishes and protects the skin and hair.

Macadamia

The Macadamia nut, which is known for its tasty coconut-like taste, is as tasty as it is beneficial to the skin. Cultivated in different regions of the world: from Brazil to Australia, there are 6 different varieties.
Macadamia oil is rich in proteins and acids, including a monounsaturated fatty acid that helps regenerate cells. The oil also contains nourishing and healing properties.

Mango

Native to Bengal in India or Burma, the mango tree is best known for its sweet fruit. Obtained by pressing the seeds contained in its stone, mango butter, rich in isostearic acid, deeply nourishes dry skin.

It is also ideal for repairing dry and damaged hair.

 

Hazelnut

The Hazelnut oil used in our KOS PARIS products contains phospholipids, vitamins A and E as well as calcium for deep hydration and optimal skin protection. This oil has healing and protective properties.

It is ideal for oily skin and helps rebalance sebum production without leaving an excess of oil on the skin that would tend to make it shiny. This active ingredient also helps protect the skin against dehydration.

 

Perilla

Perilla is an aromatic plant native to the Far East. Also called Shiso in Japanese, it is highly appreciated by Chinese, Japanese and Korean people and is used in Chinese medicine to treat skin problems.

A true treasure of nature, Organic Perilla Oil is characterized by its incredible omega-3 content. Today, it is the highest concentration of omega-3 vegetable oil.

Its undeniable qualities make it an extraordinary oil for the care of sensitive and mature skin.

Sesame

The oil comes from an herbaceous plant of the Pediataceae family: Sesame. Rich in polyunsaturated fatty acids, the vitamin E content of Sesame gives it antioxidant properties. Sesame oil is regenerating and softening.


Sesame seeds come from Mali in West Africa, where they are grown organically without the use of chemical fertilizers or pesticides.
The seeds are cold-pressed in a screw press without the use of solvents or chemicals. The oil is then filtered on blotting paper. The oil is deodorized by water vapour. To preserve its quality, it is kept away from light and heat.

This oil calms skin irritations and penetrates easily without leaving an oily film.
