What's a serum for?

The serum acts in depth and provides the skin with everything it needs by boosting the effectiveness of the day cream that is then applied. The formulation of a serum is, in general, highly concentrated in active ingredients and very little product is needed for each application.

 

Why is the serum an essential part of our beauty routine?

It is an ideal care to treat a specific problem: dryness, dull skin, lack of firmness, etc...

The serum is a care that is applied in the morning and/or evening, after cleansing the skin and before the day or night cream.

The results are usually visible very quickly.

 

How to choose your serum?

The problem to be treated is an essential point when choosing your serum. The texture is also an important criterion of choice. At KOS PARIS, we offer serums for all needs and we have favoured water-free textures in an eco-responsible manner and for increased serum efficiency.

Indeed, formulating a product without water, makes it possible to remove preservatives and emulsifiers from the composition. The products are, therefore, more effective but also gentler and healthier for the epidermis (see our article on water-free products).

 

• I need hydration and I have sensitive skin: I choose Chamomile Serum         

Concentrated with Chamomile extract and Vitamin F, derived from Safflower Oil, this serum is a care product that soothes and moisturizes the most sensitive skin. The skin is soothed, moisturized and nourished.

 

• My skin is lacking vitality : I choose the Elixir of Legends

Concentrated at more than 65% in organic active ingredients, this high-performance serum offers a real bath of youth to skin lacking vitality. Thanks to its combination of powerful active ingredients, it restores firmness and radiance to the skin. At the heart of its formula, a precious duo of prickly pear seed oil and acai berry oil. They are combined with Geranium Rosat essential oil.

Concentrated in Apricot, Buriti and Carrot oils and enriched with natural pearls, this serum instantly boosts the radiance of your complexion and nourishes your skin.

 

• My skin lacks firmness: I choose l'Élixir des Légendes

Barbary Seed Oil is the first component of this serum. In addition to its anti-wrinkle and moisturizing virtues, prickly pear seed oil is one of the best active ingredients to firm the epidermis.

Ultra concentrated in Argan Oil, this precious serum instantly and intensely nourishes your skin.

 

• My skin is combination or oily but dehydrated: I choose Essential Serum

Concentrated in Argan, Jojoba and Grape Seed oils, this serum is a nourishing, repairing and sebo-regulating treatment.
