Water is a rare commodity. Pollution, climate change, overpopulation and misuse of resources have serious consequences for the Planet. A large part of the population lacks water, which is essential for life.

Since its creation in 2010, KOS PARIS has chosen to favour anhydrous (water-free) formulas for its products.

For us, water-free cosmetics were a matter of course: for ecological reasons, but also for better efficacy and greater benefit to the skin and hair.

Hydration is often associated with water. Which is not true.

First of all, the removal of water in cosmetics makes it possible to remove preservatives, which are essential ingredients to prevent bacteriological proliferation and guarantee the proper conservation of an aqueous formula, but these ingredients are subject to controversy. A product without water also makes it possible to remove emulsifiers from the composition. The products are, therefore, softer and healthier for the epidermis.

We favour active ingredients based on organic vegetable oils.

Generally, a water-free product is more concentrated in active ingredients, and therefore much more effective for the skin. We have chosen to favour rare and precious oils that have a strong antioxidant, protective and moisturizing power. These oils, which come from the four corners of the planet, have the advantage of being ultra-effective but also guarantee income to very small producers in the Amazon, Asia and Africa.
